Jun Yu is a third-year Ph.D. student in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Lehigh University, PA, USA. He received his Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree from Shandong University in Software Engineering in 2017 and in Computer Science and Technology in 2020, respectively. His research interests primarily focus on tensor techniques, multi-task learning, transfer learning, and deep learning methods for multi-dimensional data analysis and image computing in biomedical.
Yun Huang
Yun is a PhD student from Department of Medical Statistics, Sun Yat-sen University. Her research interests relate to multi-view data integration by using Bayesian network.

Wei Liang
Wei Liang is an associate professor in the Department of Mathematical Statistics, School of Mathematical Sciences at Xiamen University. Her research interests are in the areas of survival analysis, semiparametric and nonparametric statistical inference, applied statistics, bioinformatics and so on. Hang Wei
Hang Wei received the master’s degree in applied mathematics and the Ph.D. degree in computer science and technology from the South China University of Technology, Guangzhou, China in 2009 and 2017, respectively. She is currently a faculty and the PI of Medical Big Data and Artificial Intelligence Lab in the School of Medical Information Engineering, Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine, Guangzhuo, China. She is also the committee member of Biomedical Information Committee in Guangdong, Ultrasound Medicine Management Committee of Medical Industry Association and Chinese Association of Artificial Intelligence. Her research interests include statistics, data mining, computational intelligence, machine learning and their application in medical information.
Yang Li
Summer 2018 Intern
Yang Li is a junior undergraduate student at Department of Mathematics, Tsinghua University. He won Gold Medal in Chinese Mathematical Olympiad(CMO), 2014 and he was a top 20 student in American Regions Mathematics League(ARML), 2015. His research interests are in statistics and machine learning.

I am an undergraduate majoring in Statistics at the Department of Statistics and Finance, University of Science and Technology of China(USTC). I gained a solid statistical foundation in undergraduate level. My research interests are in machine learning and network analysis. My most recent research is on the scientific collaboration network analysis.
As for other interests, I enjoy modern music, and I’m also a guitar player. I’m planning to learn to play jazz after my graduation.

I am a junior undergraduate student in the University of Science and Technology of China. Encouraged by a keen interest in data science and eagerness for practical applications, I chose statistics as my major, with a double degree in computer science. My ambition is to be a data scientist, to excavate the value of data and create wealth for the society.
